I luckily had the great pleasure of meeting Ellen when I started my first job as an RN. I feel very fortunate to have had her as a nurse educator as she was always free spirited, open minded, and always carried a smile on her face. She was a great mentor for me and many others. Sending my thoughts and prayers to her family.
