Condolence: I had the pleasure of knowing Ellen when I started working at NYP as a nurse. She had a wonderful spirit and I am in shock to hear the news of her passing. Sending my condolences and prayers to the entire family. She was a special person. Heaven has truly gained an angel. She will be missed.

I feel very fortunate to have had her as a nurse educator as she was always free spirited, open minded, and always carried a smile on her face. She was a great mentor for me and many others.
