Eileen J. Troy passed away in the early hours of Saturday, August 22nd, 2015 at Calvary Hospital. Eileen was a lifelong resident of Yonkers and a graduate of Sacred Heart High School. After graduation, Eileen worked for KLM airlines traveling the world and gathering stories for a lifetime. Though she later worked as a legal secretary in Manhattan until her retirement, Eileen remained a traveler going wherever she could spend time with the people she cared about.
While it is impossible to honor a life in only a few words, the testimony of Eileen''s life is born out by those who now mourn her passing. She is survived by her sisters Mary Macaluso (Joseph) and Patricia McCoy (John), her brother Richard Troy (Mary), her cousins, nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand- nephews, as well as her wonderful friends. Throughout her life, Eileen lived for the people she loved. Her strong faith gave her a joy that she shared with those people graced to know her. The family will receive friends on Monday August 24, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Westchester Funeral Home, Inc. Eastchester. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Tuesday August 25, 2015 at Annunciation Church, Crestwood at 10 AM.
