John Lefervoich Jr., a longtime resident of Eastchester passed away on August 3, 2015 at the age 83. He was born on November 6, 1931 to the late John and Anna (Capko) Leferovich Sr. In 1953 he graduated from the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania. He was also a 1958 graduate of Columbia Law School. John served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955. For twenty-five years he was the General Counsel to the NYS Bankers Association. His vocation was a distinguished career as a lawyer and his avocation was magic. John was a magician who was a past President of the Society of American Magicians Parent Assembly 1. John and his sons performed magic shows for many years as Magic by the 3 L''s. He was a devoted member of Christ Episcopal Church in Bronxville. John is survived by his wife of forty-seven years Mary (Gulbenkian) Leferovich, two sons John Leferovich III, and Douglas Leferovich. He is also survived by his sister Ann Neufeld. The family will receive friends on Thursday August 6, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Westchester Funeral Home, Inc. Eastchester. A service will take place at the Christ Episcopal Church, Bronxville on Friday August 7, 2015 at 11AM.
