Veronica "Roni" Hallahan, wife of the late Eugene Hallahan, formerly of Eastchester, NY and Greenwich, CT died early Sunday August 2nd, 2015. Roni was born in Belfast Ireland on June 3rd, 1934. After moving Stateside as a young girl she was raised in Brooklyn, NY. She was an avid golfer and active in the Catholic Women''s Club.
As a member of Winged Foot Golf Club, Roni was the Niners Champion in 1986. She enjoyed playing Bridge with her dear friends at the club in her later years.
Roni was a dedicated mother and is survived by her three children, Eugene Jr of Brewster, NY, Nancy Robbins of Ellicott City, MD and Paul Hallahan of Ridgefield, CT. She also has three grandchildren, Robyn Collins and Ryan and Alex Hallahan. The family will receive friends on Tuesday August 11, 2015 from 4-8 PM at the Westchester Funeral Home, Inc. ,Eastchester. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday August 12, 2015 at 10:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe.
