| Anton Barth, 57, passed away on July 17, 2010 at White Plains Hospital Center, due to complications from his long and courageous battle with multiple myeloma. He was born on April 8, 1953 in Johannesburg, South Africa, to Blanche (Viljoen) Barth and the late Lothar Barth. Anton leaves his wife, Lisa (Christenson) Barth, and his beloved daughters, Sara, Laura and Clara Barth of Bronxville, and sister, Helga Diggelmann (Richard) of Atlanta, GA. Anton served honorably in the South African Defense Force. He graduated from the University of Stellenbosch, attaining a Masters degree in Chartered Accountancy (CPA). Anton emigrated to the United States in 1979, and held various positions in the finance field, working most recently as an independent financial consultant. The family requests that contributions be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation in lieu of flowers. Anton was a great man and a wonderful role model and mentor to me. I, and many others, will miss him greatly.
