| Helen Beres, 94 died Saturday April 17, 2010 in Rye Brook. Helen was born in Lilly, Pennsylvania to the late Vincent and Mary (Kozak) Vendrzyk on March 15, 1916. She married Joseph Beres and worked as a domestic in the Queens area of New York.
Helen is survived by her grandchildren; Valerie Waldmann, Michael Murray, Timothy Murray, and Veronica Stinga and her great-grandchildren; Karen, Courtney, Jennifer, Sean, Ryan, Caitlin and Kylie. Also surviving are her siblings; Elsie Vendrzyk, Wanda Thomas, Carolyn Edwards, Barbara Wallace, Vincent and Chester. Besides her husband Joseph, Helen was predeceased by her daughter Valaria Murray, her grandson Kenneth Murray and seven brothers and sisters.
Funeral services and burial will take place in Lilly, Pennsylvania. |
