| Joan Hess passed away peacefully on March 26, 2010 with her devoted husband by her side. She was 69. Joan was born January 25,1941 in the Bronx to Salvatore J. and Vita "Betty" (Cerniglia) Paternostro. She is survived by her devoted husband Henry "Hank," her loving sons Paul (Carmen) and Tommy (Peggy), her six adoring grandchildren Alex, Ryan, Eliana, Keara, Nanci and Samantha. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Westchester Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Wednesday 12 Noon at the Funeral Home. Interment will be private. The family would like to thank the five south nursing staff at Calvary Hospital for the utmost respect and loving care they gave her. You will always have our undying gratitude. Hank - I am so sorry to hear about Joan. Although she was not well since I moved here 5 1/2 years ago, our few meetings were wonderful. Most importantly I could tell you were happy together and that makes me smile. I am just a door away if you need ANYTHING. Take Care of yourself....Theresa & Magic
