| Joseph E. DiFlora, 75, of Eastchester, NY passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010 in Springhill, Florida. He was born in NYC. Joe was an engineer and retired from Bayer Corporation in Tarrytown, NY after 43 years of service where he was awarded numerous patents for the company. A U.S. Army veteran he served two tours of duty as an aerial photo analyst in the 1950’s and in the 1960’s. Joe was active in the local chapter of the American Legion. His many interests included photography, painting, woodworking as well as various other hobbies. Joe is survived by his companion of many years, Joan Coughlin of Eastchester, NY; his brother Frank and wife Ginny of Woodcliff Lake, NJ; nephews Steve and wife Cheryl, Danny and wife Gina; grandson Michael; grandnieces Amanda, Alyssa and Gianna. A Memorial Visitation will be held at WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, Inc. 190 Main St., Eastchester, NY 10709 on Friday, March 26, 2010 from 2-4, and 7-9PM. A Memorial Mass to follow on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Tuckahoe at 9:30AM.
