Please accept my sympathy on the passing of Nick. I had just one opportunity to talk to him and it was evident what a special person he was. More importantly, the numbers of students who told me how he had affected them with his talk was very impressive. We were blessed by him.

My husbsnd, Steve was Marie's (Nick's wife) brother. Nick did more than anyone else to make me feel comfortable in this family. He was the kind of guy who did anything he could to make things better. The world was definitely better because of him.

When i think of Nick I think of a good man, caring and loving father and friend to everyone who knew him. I spent special time with Nick and cousin Marie when Cara was suddenly taken away from them. You really get to know someone when they're hurting for their loved one. I witnessed incredable sadness, yet through it all Nick showed the strength that he had to have to keep his wife Marie and family together . You look back at a man's life and try to sum it up in a few paragraphs. Nick was extra sensitive to people's feelings; always looking at the good in people. I know that he will be remembered now and forever.
